Diana Pastor (Maya K'iche) graduated from the University of San Carlos de Guatemala with a degree in social work and studies in collaborative community leadership at California State University in Monterey Bay, United States. As an Indigenous person from the diaspora, she wants to promote her culture internationally and dialogue about new dynamics of Indigenous Peoples. Diana has worked as a coordinator of media projects and as a consultant for local and international NGOs during the last nine years. She produces the quarterly magazine Cultural Survival in Spanish and is the former editor at EntreMundos Magazine, a publication on development, culture and human rights in Guatemala. She is pursuing a Master in International Media Studies at the Deutsche Welle in Bonn. She speaks Spanish, English, and some German. Contact Diana at: diana.pastor@cs.org
