Tewdufm Community Radio is focused on providing information centered on the local community. It raises awareness about education, women's and children's empowerment, human rights, equal opportunities and gender equality, maternal and child health, and the fight against HIV/AIDS. The station promotes stories on local culture and traditions, the environment and climate change, and especially facilitates women's access to the media.

The Nama in our community are dedicated to preserving and promoting our rich cultural heritage while supporting sustainable development initiatives in Botswana. The main objective is to safeguard Traditional Knowledge, language, and customs, ensuring that they are passed on to future generations. This can only be achieved through educational programs, cultural festivals and partnerships with like-minded local and international stakeholders.

The Center for Indigenous Knowledge, Development and Sustainability, popularly called CIKDAS, is an Indigenous-led organization created in 2012 to promote Indigenous Knowledge systems in Nigeria, especially in Yoruba land, where cultural values and ideologies are the lifeblood of life.  CIKDAS aims to revive dwindling cultural value systems and highlight the voices of the voiceless in the Indigenous community, preparing the youth to continue to steer the ship. 

Kasambabezi Community Radio is an open-wave communication hub for all voices, informing, entertaining, developing, and inspiring an engaged community of Kariba and surrounding areas through quality programming. The main objective is to provide a shared platform for the marginalized and disenfranchised to engage in community development and interact with other people in their own language to help build a sense of community. Another key objective is to identify, nurture, and promote local talent.

Bangladesh Indigenous Peoples’ News works for the promotion and protection of the rights of Indigenous communities in Bangladesh through journalism. We primarily train Indigenous youth to develop their journalistic and investigative skills. Bringing the untold stories of Indigenous Peoples from the grassroots to the policy table through journalistic reporting is also another major work of IPNEWS BD.

The Indigenous Rights Foundation uses ITV Nepal (a satellite television channel in partnership with Indigenous Television) to advocate for Indigenous rights and promote their languages. ITV Nepal produces programs in 20 Indigenous languages, increasing their voices and their access to the media. This has strengthened the use of Indigenous languages and promoted freedom of expression in Nepal.

Radio Triyuga 104 FM is located in Triyuga-12, Gaighat Udayapur in Koshi province, Nepal. The station was founded on January 4, 2007 by a group of local communities, mostly members of Indigenous communities, united in the Sagarmatha Information and Communication Cooperative. The station serves the Indigenous communities living in the districts of Udayapur, Siraha, Saptahari, Sunsari, Okhaldhunga, Khotang, Dhanusha, and Dhankuta, which collectively have almost 900,000 inhabitants.

Radyo Sagada 104.7 FM is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing news, information, and entertainment platforms through its broadcast channels. With the main objective of providing a space for marginalized groups, particularly Indigenous Peoples, the organization aims to amplify their voices and perspectives. In addition to broadcasting content, the organization provides training to empower community members as citizen journalists, enabling them to share their stories and experiences.

Kelung Media Siber is a media platform run entirely by Minahasan youth. Kelung means "shield" or "guardian" in the Tombulu' language, and symbolizes the mission to protect and pass on our cultural heritage to future generations. Our ambitious goal is to create the first Indigenous media outlet that actively publishes engaging and relevant content. We believe that this style of content dissemination is the most effective in reaching audiences of all ages.

As part of an overall effort to protect and empower Indigenous communities, several initiatives have been undertaken to address critical challenges facing the Asur tribe. These include conducting awareness campaigns against mining and deforestation, advocating for Tribal self-governance, and working to restore ancestral rights to water, forests, and land. In addition, efforts are underway to document the endangered language, culture, and Traditional Knowledge of the Asur and to publish the Tribe's rich oral literature.
